I recently purchased a new home last year. During the process of finding a new home and renovating this home, I learned so many things. I grew up with very basic heating and cooling systems, so I didn’t realize that there were much more luxurious options. When I moved into my new home and the HVAC contractor showed me all of my options, I was truly blown away. I ended up choosing a high end option. I installed a smart thermostat in my home. I figured that since everything in today’s society is “smart,” my thermostat might as well be. I am so glad that I chose this because the convenience it offers is priceless. I am able to adjust the temperature from the convenience of my phone. It immediately adjusts the temperature to a comfortable setting. All it requires is connection to Wi-Fi. It has been very cost effective as well. I can turn the thermostat off while I am at work and turn it back on during my commute home. Considering my city also has very unpredictable weather, this has been convenient for me. There have been days where I was at work and a random snow storm would start. I would be able to turn the heat on from my phone and felt very comfortable by the time I went home. This has given me peace of mind.
