I’m not really sure what factors play into the natural body temperature deviations of individuals, but I can tell you that my coworker and I absolutely differ in respect to these characteristics.
It wasn’t much of a problem at work, because we’re in an office with a set temperature program which no one can alter separate from help from the upper level administration, however it absolutely matters when we’re carpooling to work every morning and afternoon. You see, I live in a neighborhood with awful traffic, and it takes forever to get to the office every morning alone. I realized that my coworker and I live near one another and recommended we beginning driving together to save time and cash, but I did not realize that we had such seriously weird preferences when it came to the car’s temperature control. I know this is a silly thing to complain about, despite the fact that he sincerely makes me so uncomfortable with his heavy handed A/C usage that the morning commute has become traumatic for me. I spend the entire car ride freezing my butt off because he has the air conditioning system turned all the way up at full power. I’ve tried to kindly hint at my level of discomfort, despite the fact that he seems to be oblivious to how freezing the air is in the car. I used to believe it was too freezing at work and they needed to raise the indoor air temperature there; now I’m wearing several sweaters on the way into work every morning, and I can’t wait for the relief of the office’s control unit settings.
