When I took over as the director for my office, I was overwhelmed with all of the accounts I had to keep track of; Juggling bookkeeping, office repair plus hiring of staff was a lot of additional duties that I was not prepared for! All of the extra labor had me rethinking all of my professional decisions, however with a lack of support from the staff, I was beginning to feel I was in over my head.
When one of the staff members came to tell me that she thought the a/c might not be working, I almost lost it! I asked her if she knew who my associate and I usually contacted for that, however i could see that she could see I was stressed, and she said she would go find out plus let me know.
I sat there at my desk seeing the numbers on the thermostat go up each hour. I knew I did not have time to research a new Heating plus A/C company to help up repair the a/c in the office. I asked her if she would mind calling around or seeing who the neighbors used for Heating plus A/C repair. She was successful plus hastily securing a new Heating plus A/C company to come out plus repair the a/c. After that, she was my go-to lady. She was always quick plus helpful in assisting me with my newly obtained duties. I recently promoted her plus have her a well-deserved raise in pay.
