I decided to get creative & have my neighbor build his a custom rocking chair for when the baby comes, the rocking chair took a few days to build but because it was custom, I knew that it would come out undoubtedly nicely. She would be able to use the custom built rocking chair for several years to come, & I was sure that he had planned on having more babies… With this in mind, I did not consider the cost too much… Once I acquired the invoice, I was shocked at how upscale it was to build custom furniture! I did not mind paying the cost because I knew he would adore the custom built rocking chair & would use it for several years to come, but after he is done with the custom rocking chair, he can even pass it on to his children.
