Installing another air vent at a local office building

My job requires a lot of physical demands at times, it’s a lot of bending and kneeling.

I have been doing my job for about ten years now and I have a feeling that I will only be able to continue with my job, as an HVAC technician for the next five years. I have been on countless emergency service calls and it is physically challenging. At times I am kneeling, shining my flashlight in the intricate parts of an HVAC system trying to find that one trigger that is affecting the functionality and preventing comfortableness in one’s home. Or sometimes I’m directly underneath an HVAC system, on my back, trying to install a new and high-tech HVAC system so our customers can experience the reliability of our HVAC systems. Installing HVAC systems and HVAC equipment is certainly my favorite thing to do out of my job. Recently I was at an office building that had really poor insulation. During the winter time the upstairs office was very chilly. To combat the coldness upstairs, they wanted to install an extra air vent from downstairs and connect it to the one office upstairs. This was a very simple task to do. All I had to do was charge the company a service fee, my labor and the ductwork extension. I had to locate where the ductwork was downstairs and pin point where they wanted to put the air vent upstairs and use a ductwork connector. I did insist that once they are ready to install insulation upstairs to give me a call as I do that as well.
