Jury duty can’t be worse, unless AC never stops

Every night when my friend and I speak, she says she isfantasizing about standing in normal levels of a/c when she gets home

This week has been a particularally exhausting one. I have been meeting every frustration, obstacle, and dead ends that you can imagine. Every afternoon, my commute to work has been awful. The environment around the office has been tense and full of mishaps. And there have been a lot of miscommunications with my loved ones. Some of us has also been exacerbated because my significant other has been out of town, trapped in jury duty all week. This has got me even more down, and I’m all out of sorts. When I spoke to him, she said the same thing. Apparently, jury duty is terrible. Even worse than hanging around with boring lawyers and other jurors, she has been trapped in the most unnecessary levels of a/c for the past 5 afternoons. The courthouse evidently does not take their cooling system lightly. She said it feels like they have 10 times more a/c power than they need for the size of the courthouse. My significant other said that the cool air streaming from every air vent is so powerful, it absolutely causes a breeze in the courthouse. She told me she has been bringing as many extra layers as possible, however she isstill chilly chilly from standing still in the chilly cooling system. Every night when my friend and I speak, she says she isfantasizing about standing in normal levels of a/c when she gets home. I got a little worried last night, but, when she absolutely said she was starting to get used to this level of indoor cooling. She better not get adjusted to this ridiculous amount of a/c, because there has no way my friend and I will be able to replicate the courthouse.
