This week has been a particularly terrible one.
- I have been meeting every frustration, obstacle, and dead ends that you can imagine.
Every morning, my commute to work has been awful. The environment around the office has been tense and full of mishaps. And there have been a lot of miscommunications with my loved ones. Some of us has also been exacerbated because my significant other has been out of town, trapped in jury duty all week. This has got me even more down, and I’m all out of sorts. When I spoke to him, he said the same thing. Apparently, jury duty is terrible. Even worse than hanging around with boring lawyers and other jurors, he has been trapped in the most unnecessary levels of air conditioning for the past 5 days. The courthouse apparently does not take their cooling system lightly. He said it feels like they have 10 times more air conditioning power than they need for the size of the courthouse. My significant other said that the cool air streaming from every air vent is so powerful, it actually causes a breeze in the courthouse. He told me he has been bringing as many extra layers as possible, but he’s still freezing cold from sitting still in the frigid cooling system. Every night when we speak, he says he’s fantasizing about sitting in normal levels of air conditioning when he gets home. I got a little worried last night, however, when he actually said he was starting to get used to this level of indoor cooling. He better not get adjusted to this insane amount of air conditioning, because there’s no way we will be able to replicate the courthouse.
