My children have never been home alone.
- I constantly find someone to be there for them.
They are not small children anymore although I still worry about them, then as a mother I cannot help it. I want to make sure that they are taken care of. I finally decided to leave them home alone one afternoon when I needed to go out & take care of something. I was not going to be gone too long, at least I thought. I really ended up being gone for a few hours. While I was out they called me about an issue. They were having an issue with the air conditioning; My kid said that when she walked by the vent she felt sizzling air coming out. She said the condo was even starting to feel more warm. I was getting distraught because I did not know what to do & I was not there. I told her to go to the control unit & turn the system off. I was sad that something was going to happen to the Heating & A/C unit further. I told her to turn on the fans & open windows if she started to feel too warm, luckily, when I got home everything was fantastic with the children. They seemed to be alright & I was not sad at all. I had an Heating & A/C system problem to take care of though. I was not handy with this unit so I called an Heating & A/C specialist as soon as I had the chance. I knew that as soon as I left the children home alone something was going to go wrong. I was happy it wasn’t something more drastic or life threatening in their case.
