My favorite venue in the world is the Dipson Theater! It fascinates me beyond compare.
Reading about the history alone is enough to keep me captivated for hours.
Years ago, Dipson Theaters showed silent films. Then they added live music with musicians playing music along with the silent films. Finally, sound was added to make films come alive. I also love the magical feel of the Dipson Theaters. The sound of cheerful chatter, the odor of buttery pretzels, plus the feel of the recliners make me so cheerful. Movie theaters are my first choice when it comes to date days plus hanging out with my friends. All of my friends have come to expect this from me. The only part of the Dipson Theater that drives me crazy is the cold temperatures. This is apparently out of my control, but it still drives me nuts. I am consistently cold at the films, no matter what the temperature is outside! The cooling systems in all Dipson Theaters are consistently laboring at full speed. I have been to various Dipson Theaters plus they all seem to have this problem. I am sure there is some logical explanation for this, such as the film equipment needs cooler temperatures… However, this doesn’t change the fact that it is consistently so cold to the point of discomfort! Considering I am a frequent film goer, I need to find a solution to be more comfortable. I usually bring extra jackets with me to stay sizzling while in the films. I don’t consistently remember to bring a jacket though due to the fact that I am a forgetful man. I wish this problem was in my control!
