If no one was going to be at home, it made sense to turn off the HVAC.
Changing your habits as an adult is so difficult. You get used to things being a certain way every day, plus it’s difficult to do things differently. This is how people get stuck in rocks plus lead unfulfilling lives. However, I’m here to argue in the case of routines. In fact, I refused to change my schedule ever again. I just recently had to completely switch my routine work hours, plus it has been the biggest hassle of my life. I recently went from working second shift to first shift, which should have been an improvement on my schedule. When I agreed to make this schedule change, I never consider the impact it would have on my central cooling plus heating machines. You see, about six months ago I had a brand new control unit installed in my house. I was harshly excited for this particular air quality control component because it allowed you to program intricate air quality control settings. I could have it automatically turn the temperature up or down, depending on the season plus the condo occupancy. If no one was going to be at home, it made sense to turn off the HVAC. If someone was going to be in the house, then I would utilize the temperature control equipment. Now that I changed my schedule, the control unit has been completely thrown off by my presence in the house. It has been running of the A/C off-kilter, plus my energy bill has been climbing through the roof. I have no idea how to respected the scheduling error, except to provide the smart control unit time to figure it out.
