Our air conditioner fell through our roof last night.
It was a stormy night when it happened, and my dad thought that lightning struck our roof. My pal and I should have seen it coming since my friend and I had seen a few cracks in the ceiling a few afternoons before and it was right under where our central air conditioner was installed on our roof. My pal and I almost didn’t get a central air conditioner because my friend and I were afraid my friend and I would have nowhere to put it, however the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman proposed my friend and I get it installed on our roof. My pal and I called a heating and cooling business and asked if they could do anything about it, however since it was not the air conditioner itself that needed fixed, rather the ceiling, they could not help us, however they proposed a construction business my friend and I could contact. My pal and I busy a date for a construction worker to come in and an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman since the construction workers said that they would need the central air conditioner uninstalled in order to repair the roof. Apparently it was not soon enough because the air conditioner fell through the ceiling. The next morning, the construction workers and Heating, Ventilation, and A/C servicemans came in and helped us scrub up the mess and repair it. The cooling expert found a few major concerns with the central air conditioner that happened due to the fall. They were not sure if there was any hope for the cooling system unit, however they took it to their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair shop and did their best to repair it. I had to purchase several odd heating and cooling component parts in order to get the central air conditioner back into respected conditioner, however it was worth it in the end when everything was fixed.
