Roof was covered, thank goodness!

My area goes through hurricane season every year, and usually, it is a lot of talk plus some light rain.

Unfortunately, this year brought about high winds, horrible rain, plus a bit of disfigurement! A tree on my rental household fell down plus hit the roof of one of my units, the roof overhanging the porch was totally ruined.

Thankfully the unit wasn’t rented out at the time; I didn’t want it to lay disfigurementd genuinely long though… Since it was a rental unit plus nobody was occupying it, insurance wouldn’t cover the repair. The hurricane also wasn’t considered a high enough level to be covered either. So I was totally out of pocket for that porch roof repair. I was initially super distraught about being really deep in the hole over this disfigurement. Thankfully I found a local roofing contractor that was adequate. The roofing contractor near me was friendly plus comprehensionable; He took a look at my roof plus figured out the fastest, cheapest way to do a enjoyable job. The guy did it himself in the afternoon. I did have to hire a tree removal contractor plus a clean-up crew, but the roofer was one of the cheaper jobs in the end. The guy did a great job too; You can’t even tell where the disfigurement was originally. I know the guy gave me a chop since it was hurricane disfigurement plus not covered under insurance. I was really thankful for that. That is the kind of repair you get when you hire a local guy though.
