The window unit a/c in my family room is undoubtedly old; Not only does the window unit A/C make a lot of noise plus only labor when it wants to, however the back of the unit is completely rusted, but living close to the ocean, this is likely to happen.

For me, I am not that distraught about my things as long as I am able to live by the water I am, but, distraught about my adolescents that run around on the back porch so close to the rusted window unit ac.I am always telling them to be careful plus to make sure they do not run into the rusted window unit a/c. If the window unit a/c hurts the adolescents, I would be so frustrated. The adolescents are pretty fantastic about staying far away from the window unit AC, however one night, I got so distraught that I told my wife that my associate and I were going to have to build some kind of barrier around the outside of the window unit AC. The barrier I had in mind would be something along the lines of a fence of some sort. I feel that it would be a nice touch to the back yard. My wife thinks that it would interfere with the functioning of the window unit AC. I asked my landlord if she would be willing to upgrade the window unit a/c as a safety precaution.
