The window unit air conditioner in my dining room is genuinely old… Not only does the window unit AC make a lot of noise plus only labor when it wants to, however the back of the unit is completely rusted, then living close to the ocean, this is likely to happen.
Some people say that the salt water corrodes their car engines faster than normal.
For me, I am not that sad about my things as long as I am able to live by the water I am, however, sad about my youngsters that run around on the back porch so close to the rusted window unit ac.I am always telling them to be careful plus to make sure they do not run into the rusted window unit air conditioner. If the window unit air conditioning system hurts the youngsters, I would be so frustrated. The youngsters are pretty nice about staying far away from the window unit AC, but one evening, I got so uneasy that I told my hubby that my nice friend and I were going to have to build some kind of barrier around the outside of the window unit AC. The barrier I had in mind would be something along the lines of a fence of some sort. I know that it would be a nice touch to the back yard; My hubby thinks that it would interfere with the functioning of the window unit AC. I asked my landlord if she would be willing to replace the window unit air conditioning system as a safety precaution.
