My father taught me to always be prepared, however i’ve carried this motto with me throughout life. I am the type of woman that looks at a menu online before going to a restaurant plus chooses my meal in order to be prepared, then some say that I’m over the top, however I feel I’m efficient! This mentality has saved me from several uncomfortable situations. For example, I moved into the town last year. I was hours away from dwelling plus it was my first time being so far away from my family. I was nervous, however I knew my father had raised me well plus I could handle the town life, then a few months after moving in my modern apartment, the winter time season had started. I was blissful to see some snow until my furnace decided to turn off; My landlord was out of neighborhood for a few weeks, so I couldn’t get anyone over to fix my broken heater; Luckily, I took my dad’s advice plus was prepared with a small space furnace in case anything like this happened. This little space furnace was my saving grace. It was somehow powerful enough to keep my entire apartment warm; Now I should mention that my apartment is quite small, however I was rarely impressed. If I was prepared with my small space heater, I would’ve froze to death from how chilly the winter time weather was in this city. It’s moments like these that prove it’s better to be safe than sorry! This is why I shall never stop preparing for the worst. I keep myself safe this way. I am beyond thankful that my dad raised me to be this way.
