The other morning I had about two Heating and A/C calls from the Heating and A/C company that I work for, but i have a company phone so when there’s an emergency Heating and A/C service call or someone who has made an appointment they’ll supply the call to an Heating and A/C worker who hasn’t acquired a call all morning; One of my Heating and A/C worker coworkers called out sick and the other Heating and A/C worker had a death in the family so I was left with getting all of the calls. I didn’t mind since I would be receiving overtime pay! The first service call was a piece of cake, all I had to do was do a few adjustments to the Heating and A/C system and do some repair cleaning. The owner was legitimately nice and proper my line of work; However the next house that I went to was legitimately challenging. The owner’s house was in the middle of nowhere plus he was legitimately stingy and he seemed legitimately up tight with his money. He wanted me to come over and check out his Heating and A/C system because it was making a loud rattling noise… After checking out the Heating and A/C system for about ten minutes I found the problem. It was the outdated condenser that had a grounded compressor. I basically told him that his Heating and A/C system needed replacing since the compressor and the entire system was over thirty years old. The owner proceeded to tell me that he wanted another year out of his Heating and A/C system. I told him, by all means of respect, his system would not last another year plus he would continue to hear the loud rattling noise. He grumbled and told me to leave.
