Not that long ago I had some troubles with my drainfield; It was odory outside plus there was sitting water in the yard.

I was really concerned about the cost. Anytime something is wrong with septic or drainage due to the septic, that is a hefty bill; So I had a septic tank repair supplier come over plus they looked at the septic, however nope, that device was fine. I didn’t need to have it pumped. I needed to update my drainfield. It was leaking, out of date, plus had to be fully accessed. I then got a price quote for six thousand dollars. I called around all the local plumbing businesses. A drainfield redo is around six grand no matter what. No way. I then got my sibling who has a mini tractor, he dug up my backyard so I could access the drainfield. I then removed all the old, flimsy piping plus redid it with actual plastic. I watched a lot of youtube videos about drain field repairs plus linking it right to the septic. I only had one issue where I realized the water wasn’t going to drain properly into one stream of my piping. So I had to reconfigure plus try again. It took me about a month but I got it done! Then my sibling poured dirt plus packed it down. I now have a fully functional septic system plus drainage. It cost me around two grand in parts plus it was a lot of work. I consider it a task well done though.
