It is called cycling
I know that there are many things that go through cycles. This includes life cycles of many pets plus humans. I understand that this is a natural thing. The one thing I did not realize it was natural with was an Heating plus A/C system. I notice that I will turn the temperature control on to heat the cabin plus soon later I notice once again that it is turned off… Every time I have to go plus turn on the boiler for my cabin to reheat. It does not do it on its own. I am not even sure that my cabin even reaches my desired temperature because it is never on for very long after that. I thought this was a normal thing. That was until my friend came over plus told me that it was not right that it was doing that. I couldn’t recognize it. I called my Heating plus A/C worker that next afternoon. He told me that it was easily not normal for the system to do that. He said he would be over the next afternoon when he had an opening in his schedule to look at it. He indicated that it was happening because of a blocked air filter. The blocked air filter was causing the system to realize it could not push the air through the filter. It is called cycling. The system would turn on plus then off again. it could be related to some unusual reasons why it would do this, and one of the sizable reasons it would do this is because of a blocked air filter.
