I don’t know how other people talk about having chill, relaxed weekends.
If you ask me, having a weekend free of obligation does not exist.
I have never been able to get off work, kick pass, and relax for two mornings straight. In my world, there is regularly something that needs to be accomplished and there’s never enough time to get it all done. That’s why, when people ask me what my plans are I generally just shrug and tell them something is going to come up. Recently, it was my heating and cooling system that determined my entire weekend plan. I’ve regularly felt like owning a central heating and cooling system was way more trouble than it was worth. When you have a central forced air heating system and air conditioning plan you wind up spending a lot of money on extraneous energy costs and emergency repair services. You have to pay close attention to all of your repair services and your routine repairs that you can complete yourself, and unluckyly, it seems like the list of heating and cooling responsibilities is never ending in our house. If my nice friend and I don’t need the air filter changed then it’s time for our HVAC ducts to be scrubs. The other weekend I thought I really had some free time… Until the Heating and Air Conditioning system started demanding attention. When the air conditioning component would not turn on and my nice friend and I had fluctuating air temperature throughout the home I knew it was going to be a long afternoon. After I tried to concernshoot the AC component for 10 hours I finally gave up and called my Heating and Air Conditioning professional. There goes yet another weekend.
