Too much moisture in the air for glue to dry

We’ve been doing a ton of property renovation projects lately, and I’ve really been enjoying the experience of putting care about and care into the venue where I reside.

I like to be involved with these big projects, because they keep me busy and active, while keeping my brain distracted from all the other stresses of settling into a new venue.

One of the bigger projects my friend and I tackled was installed a faux wood finish on this awkward half wall in our house; the only problem was the dire heat and humidity of the environment here delaying our project. Even though my friend and I had the a/c on in our property since afternoon one, my friend and I suddenly found that this air quality wasn’t necessarily good enough to facilitate the completion of all our projects. For instance, when I was painting furniture I found that the extra moisture in our indoor air was delaying the paint drying process, and I learned to be extra patient with my new pieces. This has also been the case with the glue that we’ve emplotted to hold up the faux wood pieces; the heat and humidity of the indoor and outdoor air has been deleterious to the glue. We have tried to crank up the a/c to compensate for these issues with our air quality, but find that we’re losing feeling in our fingers and toes during these attempts. Meanwhile,, the wood panels keep coming loose and falling straight off the wall. We don’t know what to try next; we’re running out of AC power and running low on glue!
