I’m going to push myself a bit now that nobody is home and try to get some more writing done.
The kids were a little bit loud here and now they are gone for a while, so I should have a little bit of peace and quiet before they get back.
I may hang out with a friend later on the beach if it isn’t too cold out there. I think right now it is like 50F and it may be about the warmest it is going to be today, so the beach may not be such a good idea. Heating and fires in fireplaces are probably a better idea and maybe tomorrow will be a warmer day and a better day for the beach. I think most of my friends are working today, as it is Monday and they are all back to their jobs again. The local businesses are all packed with people returning space heaters and window air conditioners that they really didn’t need as a gift for the holidays. I didn’t buy a gift for anyone because I spent so much money trying to get back here on airplane tickets and taxi rides. I think I can work for my local contractor friend and cover all of my expenses except for the airplane ticket, which I will pay off over the next six or eight months. I could try and sell more smart thermostats with my online company and maybe even sell some big packs of HEPA filters to corporations and local businesses in town. We shall see.
