I am going to be in my hometown for two more weeks and am reflecting on the times we have had so far since being here.
I came here a week ago and have been hanging out with my family a lot.
I may meet up with a friend later today to get out of the house for a bit, but I need to see if she even has time to do so. A lot of my friends are too busy to do anything anymore, so I usually am on the hunt looking for someone to hang out with. HVAC equipment repairs and writing is my job, but I only work about 15 hours a week and am usually done each day by 2pm or so. It seems that most of my friends have no free time in the day or evening to hang out with me, which is why most of my friends are a lot younger than I am. My HVAC contractor friend, who usually is working on heating and cooling systems all of the time, seems to never have time for me to do anything anymore. It is crazy because he used to be the one asking me to hang out when we were younger, but now he is the working dad and has no more time for me. I may help him with this ductwork job next week and make some money so I can pay off this hefty plane ticket that I had to buy to come back home for the holidays. It all works out in the end.
