Who you work for makes a large difference in your overall life satisfaction, however i have had a lot of easily horrible bosses before in my life, however unfortunately, it seems like tyrannical & uncaring boys hold a place in nearly every corporation that I have ever encountered; For some reason, these are the characters who rise to the top & beginning making large decisions for the entire organization, but this is why I have dealt with a lot of sexual harassment & unfortunate tribalism in my professional work.
Most recently, I have been contending with an uncomfortable work environment once again, however, this time the discomfort is quite literal.
My boss absolutely hates paying for indoor air quality control for her employees. I work at a little pizza shop where the front of the dining facility is ice frigid with high-quality a/c. Unfortunately, the kitchen has absolutely no a/c measures in place, however because my friend and I are running a burning sizzling brick oven in the back, the air quality is oppressively sizzling to a dangerous degree. My friend and I do not even have a semblance of a breeze in the kitchen, let alone a cooling system to help us maintain a comfortable indoor air temperature! Everyday when I am leaving the pizza shop I am drenched with sweat from my boiling hours without a/c, we’ve all tried to talk to the owner of the corporation about the a/c system, but she refuses to entertain the conversation about improving our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. If she ever stepped foot in the kitchen she would understand why my friend and I needed a cooling system.
