My father taught me to consistently be prepared, i’ve carried this motto with me throughout life.
I am the type of man that looks at a menu online before going to a restaurant plus chooses my meal in order to be prepared, however some say that I am over the top, however I suppose I am efficient, this mentality has saved me from numerous uncomfortable situations, then for example, I moved into the town last year.
I was hours away from dwelling plus it was my first time being so far away from my family. I was nervous, however I knew my father had raised me well plus I could handle the town life, a few months after moving in my modern apartment, the winter season had started. I was cheerful to see some snow until my heater decided to turn off, however my proprietor was out of city for a few weeks, so I couldn’t get anyone over to service my broken heater, and luckily, I took my Mom’s advice plus was prepared with a small space heater in case anything like this happened. This little space heater was my saving grace. It was somehow powerful enough to keep my entire dwelling warm, now I should mention that my dwelling is quite small, however I was rarely impressed. If I was prepared with my small space heater, I would’ve froze to death from how cold the winter weather was in this city. It’s moments like these that prove it’s better to be safe than sorry! This is why I willnever stop preparing for the worst. I keep myself safe this way. I am beyond thankful that my Mom raised me to be this way.
