Space heating system gets water in it

Every winter, I gather all of the space heaters in the house and prepare for the long, freezing winter.

I make sure that they are all in laboring order and that each space heating system is safe and good to go. Without doubt, there is always a space heating system that does not work, this year, it was the one that I keep in the spare room closet. I noticed that in addition to the dust, there was a little bit of mold on the space heater. I abruptly tossed the space heating system in the dumpster. I did not want to take any chances with a space heating system catching on fire due to an electrical issue friendd with water. What a eveningmare that would be. After I tossed that one space heater, I started thinking more about where the water might have come from. I remembered the mold and my thoughts started to spiral. I hopped out of bed and checked the closet where I was storing the space heaters all year. As I had expected, there was a leak coming from the ceiling. I started pulling everything out of the closet. I am so cheerful I checked the space heaters for any detriment before the freezing weather got entirely bad. I feel the leak was fairly new, because there was not much water detriment elsewhere. The portable a/c had little however moisture inside it as well.
